All Canadian orders are fulfilled from our warehouse:

Order Processing & Cutoff

Order cutoff: Orders must be in our warehouse management (WM) system by 10:00 AM EST to be processed the same business day.

Please note: If there is an order sync delay from Shopify into our WM, that delay must be accounted for. Orders that flow into the WM after the cutoff will be processed the next business day.

Orders placed after cutoff, on weekends, or on Canadian statutory holidays will be processed the following business day.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

Flat-rate shipping is calculated at checkout.

We recommend offering Free Standard Shipping on orders over $75 CAD.
Duties & Taxes

Taxes: All Canadian orders are subject to applicable provincial and federal sales tax, calculated via our Avalara Avatax integration in Shopify.

Duties: We do not ship cross-border orders (U.S. to Canada or vice versa) except for internal purposes, so duties do not apply.
Surcharges & Restrictions

Remote area surcharges may apply for deliveries to rural/extended service areas.

PO Boxes: Delivery may be limited depending on the carrier.

Size/weight limits: Our standard shipments are optimized for bar cases/cartons; oversized orders may require alternate arrangements.
Returns & Exchanges
At this time, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to the perishable nature of our products.
Lost or Damaged Packages

If a package is lost or damaged, we file a claim with the carrier used (Canpar or Canada Post). Claims may take up to 90 days to resolve.

If a customer reports they have not received their order and there is no tracking update, or if the tracking shows “delivered” but the customer has not received it, please notify us immediately so we can start a claim with the carrier.
Seasonal & Weather Considerations

Summer shipping: Due to heat sensitivity, TRUBAR bars are not shipped during peak summer months.

Winter shipping: Orders may experience delays in remote or northern areas due to weather. Customers are encouraged to check with carriers for updates.
